Haven’t really been feeling much like doing anything lately, what with the good weather and my random hospital visit in the middle of the week.  But this happened.

“Fiberglass Flower Sticks”

Yet another set of juggling sticks, with a few new materials:  fiber glass rod instead of poplar dowels, as suggested by Kevin Contreras, and faux suede tassels rather than the bicycle tube “flowers” I generally put on each end.

The remaining materials have now become standard in most of my builds:  electrical tape, bicycle tube (far less than I ever have on any previous sticks:  it is generally the predominate material), and self-fusing vinyl repair tape.  I like the action of these sticks, but the weight distribution still feels a little odd compared to what I usually juggle.  They spin very quickly,  especially when spinning on a single stick, and once they gain enough momentum things can get out of control in a hurry.    If I use the faux suede tassels again, I may attach weights (flat washers, perhaps?) at each end of the flower stick to give it better balance.
